In the artifact I found, it shows two snipers. The line being used in it is combination of horizontal. The horizontal lines represent the stability of the snipers in their current positions. The one sniper is out in the open and does not blend like a normal sniper would for that type of environment, where as the other one blends in very well and requires a second glance to notice him. I believe it is both a 3D object because it is realistic, but also illusionary because because one of them blends in to disappear into the scenery. the color of the one sniper is very contrasting to the environment, where as the other one uses the colors that are like the surroundings to blend in. this shows how effective a sniper can be when he utilizes his environment and resources correctly.
